Hello!
I'm experiencing error 8015190A when signing in to my Xbox 360 account. Because of this, I can't sign in or earn achievements on my Xbox 360 console, nor can I log into Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games on my Xbox One X. This issue is directly linked to Game Pass subscription, please read further.
On my Xbox 360 console, and every time I launch a 360 game on my Xbox One X, I'm prompted to download the 360 profile. I enter my Microsoft account email address and password. However, as soon as the 360 profile download begins, I get the following error: "Sorry, there was a problem with the credentials you used to sign in. Please go to
https://account.live.com to fix the problem. 8015190A." The download ends prematurely.
According to answers.microsoft.com, the only currently working fix for error 8015190A is to turn the "recurring billing" option on\off for my Game Pass subscription.
However, since my Game Pass Ultimate subscription was activated using prepaid codes, the "recurring billing" option is unavailable in the subscription settings. My subscription expires on January 8, 2026, so I only have two options: wait until January 8, 2026, or hope to get help from support.
In summary, please help me fix error 8015190A, which is preventing me from signing in and earning achievements on my Xbox 360 console. To accomplish this, could you please disable the Game Pass subscription in my profile and then immediately turn it back on?
Earlier this summer, I spent two hours contacting Xbox support - I changed everything I could in my profile, but the error still persisted. I'm 100% certain the only way to fix it is by manually disabling/enabling my prepaid Game Pass subscription with your help.
